As a stage manager Michael was on a team in charge of managing all the atmosphere bands and talent throughout both resorts. Other duties included stage managing the Playhouse Disney Live on Stage show and the Buzz Lightyear show. He also worked as a stage manager on many special events such as ABC Primetime Weekends, NCA Cheerleading competitions, the X-Games Xperience, and the grand opening of Disney's California Adventure.
During this time Michael was also pursuing his professional acting career. He worked at many theatres in the Los Angeles area including
Musical Theatre West, Downey Civic Light Opera, Covina Valley Playhouse, and the Garden Grove Playhouse.
Michael also had some success in the film and television industry. He appeared in several independent films and was represented commercially by Commercials Unlimited. He was trained in film acting and directing at the Film Industry Workshop in Burbank, where he worked on the soundstages at CBS.
Michael's formal education started in Fullerton, CA where he earned
an AA from Fullerton College. He then went on to earn his BA from Long Beach
